WARMER WEATHER ALERT SUMMER IS HERE and the days are getting hotter and hotter. Without adequate water, plant material is sure to suffer. We will do our best to keep up with the changes in weather conditions however we are asking for your help to maintain healthy turf and plants. With the temperatures staying around the 90-100 degree mark, it is important to watch for dry areas in your turf and wilting plants. The heat of the day can take its toll on all plants. Supplemental hand watering may be required for color areas or areas not covered by irrigation. Just like air conditioning, irrigation systems are not always perfectly designed and may not accommodate all conditions. If your irrigation systems are not watering properly, please ask your maintenance personnel to adjust them or contact us immediately. If you notice a problem, please notify us promptly because with a week between visits and longer between inspections, the heat will destroy plants and leave your property not looking its best. We thank you for your patience and understanding and look forward to servicing you.
Change in Visitation Schedule Spring is upon us and many of you may be experiencing new growth in your turf areas as a result of the rain, fertilization, and climate change. In April, we will begin your weekly landscape maintenance visitations. This is an excellent time of year to have your irrigation systems thoroughly checked by one of our technicians. Also, with the climate change, this is a great time to plant new landscaping. Please keep in mind the higher temperatures will stress the existing Fall color and it will need to be removed from the beds. Therefore, it is a great time to discuss Spring color changes. Proposals will be going out in the next couple of weeks.
